Last Wednesday was very productive and after a week of being crushed under a stack of heavy books this batch of paintings on paper were flat enough to photograph-
The first piece from this batch quickly turned into a fairly realistic view of what looks like a grove of trees in a barren gray winter landscape that almost looks like a black and white photograph from a distance.
The second painting became much more abstract with what started out as a forested hill turned into some peculiar fuzzy creature. This led to the next two pieces-
